March 22 2007: Professor of Computer Science at MIT and 2002 Nevanlinna Prize winner Madhu Sudan gave a seminar in the School of Mathematical Sciences at UCD.
Sudan is a member of the advisory board of the Claude Shannon Institute. The Nevanlinna Prize is the world's leading prize in information science, and is awarded every four years with the Fields medals, the equivalent of the Nobel prize for mathematics.
